Foreign Teachers celebrate the 30th Teacher's Day

On the afternoon of September.10th, all the foreign teachers gathered together to celebrate the 30th Teacher’s Day. All teachers from Office of International Cooperation and Exchange (OICE), relevant leaders from School of Foreign Languages and School of Architectural Engineering also attended the activity.

Vice-president Xiao Changchun extended his festival greetings to all the foreign teachers and warm welcome to three new foreign teachers coming from afar to work in Jinggangshan University. He also expressed his gratitude for the contribution they’ve made during these years of hard work. At the same time, he stressed that OICE and relevant departments should, as always, perfect the management and service, care more about foreign teachers and solve the problems they encountered in life and work.

Foreign teachers all speak their minds at the meeting. Jageshwar Prasad, a medical teacher from Nepal, said he will work harder and devote himself to teaching in an effort to contribute more to the development of Jianggahngshan University. Bradford from the United States expressed his hope that in the future, the University can continue to strengthen the interaction between Chinese and oversea students in order to deepen Sino-foreign friendship. Some foreign and Chinese teachers gave wonderful performances during the celebration, which has greatly facilitated the exchange of ideas and enhanced their friendship.

This year, Our University employs 13 foreign teachers from 9 countries including the United Kingdom, the United States, Germany, Japan, Russia, etc. They are teaching foreign languages such as English, Japanese, German, Korean and professional majors such as Medicine, civil engineering and music. In recent years, the team of foreign teachers has witnessed great bounds in quantity and quality, and the management of foreign teachers achieved great progress.
